Hello,

A word from Dr. Kevin

I'm fascinated with the human body and how resilient it can be. When a patient comes in, it is my job to assess the sum of a person's wellbeing not only for the reason of their pain. In doing so, I try to help patients navigate and try to understand what the root cause may be. My personal mission is to try and educate each patient on how to become the best person that they want to be.

My Story

Dr. Kevin Dewey, D.C. was born and raised in Central Florida. As an athlete in high school, Dr. Kevin was involved in baseball, basketball, football among many other activities that ultimately led to a baseball scholarship. It was his time playing collegiate sports where he was first exposed to chiropractic manipulation. He found that getting adjusted by his chiropractor was a key ingredient to remaining injury-free. Seeing first hand the benefit that chiropractic gave him, he decided during that time to start on the path to becoming a chiropractor and helping others. He began his path and graduated from University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Exercise Science.

He went on to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida, earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2018. He is and continues to be passionate about chiropractic and how it has the potential to help treat a wide range of conditions, from sports injuries to postural changes to degenerative issues, getting patients back to doing the things they love. He urges how vital chiropractic (in combination with acupuncture) can be in speeding up recovery and prolonging the quality of life.

Dr. Kevin has completed over 4500 classroom hours, passed four rigorous National Board exams prior to earning licensure in the state of Florida. He has taken advanced classes in the techniques of Gonstead, Flexion-Distraction, and is a certified acupuncturist. He also attends continuing education seminars throughout the year to maintain his advancement in the field of Chiropractic.

Dr. Kevin enjoys being active in the community and continues to try and lead by example when it comes to using movement as medicine. In his free time he enjoys playing golf, tennis, pickleball, hiking, exercising with his wife Charlotte and their Australian Shepherd pup, Aughie Baloo.
